final battle -- day 109
a very strange morning! when i wake up, i feel so well and COMFORTABLE...i see the sunlight from the windows! omg! the time i set is 5:30am for my alarms, at that time should be no sunlight!!!! Then i turn my head to the hotel alarm clock next to the bed, this is 6:30am!!!!!!!
Next to me, I discover my palm and mobile phone!!!!! I am very sure I put them on the computer desk before I went to bed last night!!!! When did i pick them to the bed? Of course and very obviously, i turned the alarm off too ~_~!!!
Even strange, i set one is 5:30am, the other is 5:35am, that means i either got of my bed twice in order to shut the alarms off or very unconsciously by intuition pick both BEEPING devices and shut down one by one?
no clues! just a long and exciting day with so many difficult papers and events

Lunch hour! I need to find a place to cash back! and see also whether I can get online to check-in online for tomorrow flight back to Cleveland...(any upgrade, i.e. FOOD too!!!!!) But no free lunch! also, this is a super small plane that needs to fly 2 hrs, so.....no food would be provided anyway, i guess....
Boston pizza! Last night Darren’s classmate suggested this shop...and all of the sudden i pass by, wwy encourages me strongly to have lunch there....ok...let me see.....
I meet one professor from Temple U there! He invites me to have lunch with him. Of course, no problem! He also asks me about the funding for this trip, whether this also includes meals or not....anyway, he is going to buy a lunch for me. But I tell him, i got full funding and meals a re included, so, no need to buy me a lunch....he is very kind actually....then he told me the story why he does so because, long time ago way back to his student time, his respectful teacher also did the same thing to him (well, i also did this when i was in HK!!!)
a nice chat and walk around Boston University (BU) with him . . . a very sincere man!

Dinner time with Darren @ a Chinese Restaurant nearby, food ok but don’t know why the Pipa Tofu has no taste with no vegetable put underneath ~_~ every place has its own cooking method even for the same dish . . .

Concert time, Messiaen and Debussy’s preludes and songs, and a newly published old piece in early 1930s . . . this is a good concert though i feel JG and ZoneC played much better . . .
All is over! All guys in this conference are very nice, informative and supportive. I really learn a lot from it . . . doing music theory.analysis is not just shutting yourself in the room reading the score but need to see more other things in order to enrich your mind and direction!!! this conference provides me a good chance to view more deeply in Messiaen’s spiritual world and the background of Catholic Church in the 20th century, especially in Paris.
