final battle -- day 122
“will you feel fear when you found the (Messiaen’s) music is simply monophony and very explicit (that no need you to explain anymore)?” a composer friend of mine asked me . . . He is quite true and sensitive . . . yes, i do at the very beginning but after a few seconds, my “theorist-intuition” just began to think and search for sth special inside the music . . . but this is most of the time a painful process thou should be an enjoying one . . .
